Hi and![]()
My first suggestion would be to acquire a friend for your chicken (a lot of feed stores sell young chickens, ours has 2 week olds which is about right for you), because they're social creatures and she'd be happier with another chicken to live with.
As for feeding, you can get chick starter from feed stores as well or make your own. I have no experience in making feed from scratch, but there are plenty of people on here who have done so, so you should be able to get some good advice.Try https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/12/feeding-watering-your-flock![]()
Make sure it also has enough water to drink, you can give it water in a dish or container, just make sure it's not too deep so it can't fall in. You can feed chickens treats when they're a few weeks old, try some scrambled eggs, or yoghurt, or something else - chickens will eat a lot of things. They will need scratch but that comes with the feed if you buy it from the store.![]()
Good luck, and have fun!
