I had a muscovy hen one time- I called her Mama Duck- She wasn't as pretty as your mama duck , but she had so much personality. I could shake a bucket of corn and she would come flying from wherever she was at and land on my arm like a hawk!! And she was a baby raising machine!!

The babies are getting bigger now, and proud mama is taking great care of them.. even though I have had a few slip out here and there I found them and returned them to their mom. I think this sunday I am going to let her out so she can roam the yard with her babies (even though I will be watching her every move

)

I am currently waiting patiently for my first clutch of mallard babies to hatch from their momma, it'll be the bestest eater evur!...well, actually they'll hatch like the 14th, but still

The are now 3 weeks old, and SUPER BIG. After all and all she has only 15 left

...

But in other good news, I had another mama hatch out seven about four days ago
