New Muscovy Mom with her 17 kids! *PICS*

Oh, I had muscovies, I loved them. Except those hissing drakes.

But 17 is a big hatch, mine sat on 13. I took some away and gave them to our Pekin, who caught the broody fever, but was old and had no eggs. She was sitting on rocks, and faithfully turning them every day! She ended up being the best mamma of all!

She is doing well with all her kids and actually is very nice and lets me check the kids out [to an extent]

And also, about the eggs, next time she lays I am going to sell some of the eggs

do you think a muscovy would sit on any eggs? do you think they are the best broody ducks?

maybe i'll get one to sit on my call eggs

and forget buying the big incubator!
