Arizona Bob Cat. With no rain lately I expect my next neighbor to be the mountain lion. Oh well at least they keep the coyotes away. LOL!

OMG!!! My free-range hens would be goners...even my trio of rooster gangsters (Vito, Michael and Fredo) couldn't stand up to that. How did you get that pic? The bobcats we have here in the mountains are very shy and you hardly ever catch a glimpse. That is sure one beautiful animal.

Forget the chickens! This one looks ticked and is eyeing up the dog and kids!!!

I was working at Montazuma's Castle out there in '88 when they were having the bad fire in Yosemite and other places. We were dry to and all kinds of "critters" were coming down off the higher elevations to see what they could find to eat down below. Tucson had several incidents of hikers being attacked by Mt. Lions. Had one by the castle that chased the neighbors cows but never caught one.

We choose to live on THEIR land. Sometimes we don't make the best landlords.

I took this about 30 feet from my front door. He looks made because I hit him with a rock. Had my gun, but hate to shoot things and yes, my chicks are well protected against even this guy.

Wow, what a beauty! I've only ever seen one around here, and it was a few miles from my house. I can't imagine seeing one in my front yard! My kids (and dogs) would go crazy.

I would feel nervous, but very lucky! LOL, I bet your chickens are feeling very lucky, too!

Beautiful! Funny story.

My son was outside playing with one of our dogs. The Goat and The Pig were in a dog kennel. The goat and pig started making noises like they were scared. Doodlebug started growling and the other dogs also. Corey looks up and there is this HUGE bobcat staring right at him. He came in screaming.

Beautiful pictures!!

What do you do about your new neighbors????

I understand they are searching for water, but how long before they think they are at Burger King...and want it their way???

Again, the pictures are great.

WOW, I love seeing pictures from different parts of our country. When I was travelling out west in the late 70's, I can't remember which state but I remember seeing a sign advertising stuffed bobcats! They are beautiful.
