New Neighbors *LONG Winded*

Actually in michigan, as long as you are on your own farm, or have permission from a neighbor there are some hunting seasons that are year long

Yes, I know that groundhog and coyote season are all year round. And so is bully cats. Had one of them kill my favorite cat this summer.

but we are planning on moving within the next year anyway soooo......I think you have a wonderful opprotunity here to make new friends. I agree invite them over or even just stop by introduce yourself and welcome them. Good Luck! and please keep us posted on how it goes.

Girl! You better get over there and set the mood. Introduce yourself and your family! Don't mention the last neighbors, it will only label you a gossiper(Because no matter how horrible the last ones were, the new ones don't want to hear about it! And it will only make them worry about what you will say/think of them). Just greet them and be friendly.

I think that I would have stood right in front of her on my side of the line and stared back.

I'll bet the new neighbors are nice. They have a kid for yours to be friends with and the mother has already demonstrated that she is trying to keep her little one from trespassing. Make 'em some cupcakes and go meet them!

Well I haven't gone over yet. They have had a TON of people over both all day yesterday and today. I'm having a hard time figuring out who is the family who actually plans to live there!

Guess what they have next door?! It's not chickens....

4 Wheelers! YAY...

BUT, they were considerate and at 8pm on the DOT they were shut off and put away. I cannot complain about that at all!

Considerate 4 wheelers, nice! The interesting family across the street got one a few years back. The first time the parents left for work and the kids were home alone for summer break, the kids started roaring around. I went over in jammies and robe, knocked on the door and said something about it being 7 am or 6 am and couldn't they just wait until a reasonable hour to be out ---! I must've given them the Mom's look of Death because they never did that again. The kids are pretty good about all these years. I'm not the one in the neighborhood to call the cops as a first resort. (even when the idiot renters started playing with their gang banger wanna be guns, but that's another story)
I think I need to go intro myself to the new renters. Its hard to tell who is moving in or out or what over there anymore. Cupcakes sounds good! Any more ideas for introducing ones self to the neighbors? We have some neighbors that have lived here a while that I never see...
