New nest...different momma

Good morning everyone,

I just wanted to let you know we have "a new tenant" as my husband would say in the duck house..
This time it's Mama Duck

. I went outside with my dogs this morning and there she was standing over the first egg.
So here we go DAY 1 ...1 egg ..hopefully I can number them this time.. Actually Mama Duck chased Ducky around for a few mins but has settled down and the ducks( Mama Duck, Ducky & Freckles) are all eating ,drinking chillaxin.

Good morning E1...
thank you ....good news and not so good news Mama duck has laid another egg

this morning but egg#1 was eaten sometime in the night

...since they are not actually my ducks but do nest in a house my husband built with feeders on it I have no idea what to do to deter critters away from the nest
