The children are happy to help with the chickens and I would definitely say we consider them like pets, each having names that my children have given them.
ADVICE PLEASE - All has been going well until I notice something with one of our 2 month old pullets. Her eye has become swollen. I read some of the threads about swollen eyes and have used saline and VetRX for the last 5 days. While it did get a little better, it is still not 100%. In doing some further research I purchased CORID (amprolium) and put in in all their water yesterday. I also read that perhaps Tylan 50 should be considered. I ordered it and it should arrive tomorrow. My husband will have to do the injections because I am a wuss. Are we doing the right thing? Should we be using
