This Saturday we made our first out of state drive to buy a goat, LOL!

Meet Java Latte, a purebred but unregistered doe. She is bred to a triple registered buck for February, '08! I plan to use this doe for milking. Check her udder!

    Awesome! [IMG]
Her udder is beautiful and so is she!

I have looked into the nigerian dwarf as the type goat I'd like to get.....[IMG]
I would like to try my hand at milking and making cheese and it sounds like this breed would be a good one. She would give a person plenty without totally swamping them milk.
Have you had this breed before?

I have a whole herd of pet quality mini nigerians (udders too small to milk). Love them! We'll see how the milking venture goes next March :-D
