Hey guys! I am a returning member from WAAAAAY back in the old days. I started raising chickens when I was 15 in my parents backyard with two light Brahma pullets some friends gave me, Roberta and Zim. Chickens soon became an obsession of mine and my flock kept growing. Unfortunately I left chickendom (and the BYC family) when I joined the Army after high school and mom and dad didn't want to keep all of them and so most were given away to others and the remainder have since passed, inclding my dear sweet Roberta. But now Im out of the Army and back into chickens! Im so excited to get back into chickens since we got our first Brahma chicks a week ago and plan on getting some Cochins too! I am also glad to get back in touch with the BYC group to help me with some things I have forgotten (a lot, proably) and hopefully can add some of my insight and expierience to others who need it. I look forward to getting to know you all and rasing these wonderful birds!
