New Older Chicken In Flock

I'm new to this hobby and have a question. I have a flock of 8 pullets about 3 weeks old. I bought a chicken yesterday that's about 2 months old and of course, larger. I out the new hen into the giant enclosed garden with the chicks yesterday and there was no fighting. But the older hen won't stay around the chicks and goes off by herself. I also can't seem to catch her and put her inside at night. Is there anything I can do to integrate her into the flock? Can she stay out in the enclosed garden all night? It's not cold and I don't have a lot of predators around here. Thanks for any good information.

you should quarantine the new one. you could or have passed on a disease to baby's

A friend gave me an older hen that I integrated into the flock with younger ones. She's definitely the boss and they've learned to keep their distance from her. However, she's also learned that I'm the treat lady and she comes running when she sees me. I would suggest bringing her treats so she figures out to come to you.
