I am looking to buy bantam hens in New Orleans, but haven't the faintest idea of where to look. Any suggestions?

Check out the Poultry for Sale section in the La Market Bulletin--it is published by the La Ag Dept every 2 weeks.

Might also contact your local 4-H club-they may know of somebody.

I'm just starting out and also looking in New Orleans area for standard chickens and I would like one bantam. To buy online where you can pick your breed is minimum 15 chickens. I only want 5 & to buy that number costs $55 for few days old chicks. Expensive. I live in New Orleans and if we could order ours together depending on how many you are wanting maybe together we can place an order and save some $$. Just a thought as these would be my first chicken purchase .
