New Orleans Saints Coop

Hi, Being an "old school" Saints fan and still in S.E. La......Love the suggestions for names for the coop. I was at the first ever game the Saints played in Tulane Stadium in 1967....John Gillam ran back opening kickoff 97 yds. for td. We went nuts. Little did we know it would be decades before we had a Champion team. Anyway...glad to see some N.O.L.A. folks on site.
I'm sure you will find a fitting name for your coop. As we say in La. Where ya at? in La.? Just curious! "Laissez les bon temps rouley"
Let The Good Times Roll That's how we do in Louisiana. Always a party.

Yeah my father in law was there as well in Tulane Stadium for the first kick off. He almost passed a couple of years ago but held on and was able to see the Saints win the SB FINALLY and he told my wife now he can die a happy man

Tmcmullin,

I LIKE your style!

I'm an old school Saints fan too. I'm so old school that I was actually in Tulane Stadium when the Saints played their first game against the LA Rams. You do know that the Saints scored on their very first play in their first season of regular NFL play, don't you? I was there to see it. I was also there when Tom Dempsey kicked his record breaking 63 yard field goal, and I have spent my time sporting a bag over my head... But I drew the line when it came to donning a dress to parade with Bobby Hebert...

In fact, a broody hen hatched two chicks for us only weeks before the 2009 Saints made their successful run for the Super Bowl championship. One of the chicks was golden feathered (buff orpington), and the other was primarily black (barred rock/EE), so we named our gold chick Drew Brees and our black chick Pierre Thomas. We have lots of pictures of Drew and Pierre watching their namesakes win the Superbowl, and -- of course -- little Drew was named MVP (Most Valuable Pullet) of Superbowl 44 in our own henhouse.

Anyway, suggestions for a name for a Saints Coop?

Hummm.... let me think...

TMcMullin,

You didn't say whether you have girls and boys, or only girls.

If you only have little girls, you could name your coop

The Louisiana Pulletdome.
