New owner- at daughter's insistence!

Hi! Thank you for accepting me. I am the lucky mom of a 10 year old that wanted us to try chickens again- and (yeah- we'll blame it on that!) I have 6RIR, 6 Black sex link, and 2 ducks- all came from local mass chain store.
And and all advice will be appreciated. They are about 8 weeks old now. Appear very healthy. Fat and happy!

Welcome chicks are a lot of fun that's for sure. I remember growing up and visiting my uncles farm and they had chickens. Its been in my blood ever since and last year my son's friend gave us 4 hens. It will be something she will always remember having. Does she have a favorite yet? Can't wait to see pictures when you get around to posting some. Best of luck on your new flock.
