New Peachick watching Stanley Cup Playoffs

So our first Peachick so far is an only child. My daughter and Mango (1 day old) watching the Buds take on the CBJs. Just saying, Mango better be a Leafs fan!

Just a few we helped Mango out of the shell this morning ( day 35, > 30 hours since pipping with no progress), and then Mango needed some orthopedic booties for crooked toes (couldn’t walk). So Peachicks are an adventure! But so in love!!

Drinking, haven’t seen him/ her eat yet - but picking at things. Mango was very lethargic for the first 5 hours, but now seems to be perked up. But maybe that’s because Toronto was winning for a moment?

Maybe? I have my old WW scale... assuming that would work? Honestly haven’t weighed Mango. Guess I should so I have a reference to weigh against. Thank you for the great suggestion!

Newly hatched peachicks usually weigh 45 to 70 grams. As they digest their yolks, some will loose weight for the first few days, but by day 7 they should be back to their hatch weight.

Yes. He’s still an only child so I put my broody hen in with him since her babies are now teenagers and won’t listen to her I love watching him snuggle under her
