new pecking order - how long does it take to establish??

Hi everyone, It has been 1 week since I mixed 3 australorps and 1 amerucana that are about 26 weeks old to 3 golden comets that are 1 1/2 yrs. old. The australorps are just awful to the GC chasing away from the feed, pecking and fighting. This is the worst I have experienced in the 4 years I have been raising chickens. I know they have to establish the new pecking order but how LONG do you think that takes?? Will it ever get better or will they always fight?? I feel for my GC they are so sweet and this is the first time I raised australops and the reason I did is I thought they were a docile bird???

HELLO does anyone have any ideas - should I try peepers??

I had intro'd some younger BCM's to my flock about 6 wks ago, and they still get picked on some, and still kinda stay separate from the rest of the flock.
