New Peeps from SW Ranches, Florida.

Hi from Southwest Ranches, Florida about 20 miles due west of Fort Lauderdale, the last stop before hitting the Everglades.

We recently moved here from California. Our new next door neighbor has chickens. When we first moved in they shared some fresh eggs with us. The awesome taste and deep color of those eggs convinced us to get ourselves a few chickens too.

We now have ten chicks, seven are about 4 months old and the others two months old. They are 3 Easter Eggers, 2 Silver laced Wyndottes, 4 Gold Sex-links, and one unknown big dirty white one...that I strongly suspect to be a gold sex-link rooster

We have been lurking on the boards for the last few months and have gotten a lot of good knowledge and tips from the forum and thought it was about time to join up and become more involved.
