In the Brooder
Hello everyone!
I am a freelance artist + photographer also new member to the forum just looking to gain knowledge and read what all of you wonderful people have shared about raising chickens.
I am basically a beginner because the last chicken coop I helped with belonged to my in-laws. My kids and I loved taking care of them. My husband & I decided on getting a flock of our own.
We have been greenhouse & raised bed gardeners for many years. Up-cycling and repurposing materials is something we are almost completely able to do and will be able to do for the new coop.
I would like to know what you fellow deep southerners do for keeping them as cool as possible.
Can’t wait to read through everything!
