New pheasant pens

Very nice set up.I agree the pens do look a little to small, but the idea is awesome.I lkie the building the way it is.It looks like they have a place to get out of the elements if they choose, plus a place to store feed.I wonder what the top is for?Is it useable space,or just for looks? It looks great, but just wondering the purpose.
I wouldn't have all those doors on the outside though,I would have 1 outside door and all the others on the inside to the front of the pen.Very good job to who ever built this bird palace.

I found this on the internet one day....... I would like to do something like this but with longer pens that come out from the center. Instead of a pen in the inside center I'd put a bench that I could store their feed and such in. Instead of solid walls towards the inside I would like to put tinted plexi glass so I can enjoy the view of birds from inside too. Thought about putting doors inside that I can lift to fill feeders. Right now just a dream... but maybe sometime in the near future.......

Hey was just curious about if you were putting the wire inside the pen or outside. Reason being the coyotes and foxes here can push through if its on the inside but not if its outside.

do you have any quail and partridge size recomemadations also...

I saw this on Pinterest and I wish I could find better pictures. I thought this would be great for rabbits and guinea pigs as well as some of my smaller birds like my lovebirds and parakeets. I would make the outer pens larger for my buns. I would also want to include some sort of shade for the outer pens as well as water drainage like a French drain because we get a lot of rain in the winter season. I might consider a tinted fiberglass or plexiglass roof as well and to make it predator proof by making a cement perimeter. A barrier or air gap between pens so the critters don't try to get at each other through the wires too.
I have been putting a LOT of thought into this type of enclosure because we are looking to build a barn, greenhouse, etc with specific needs for animals met in all areas. I wish it had better pictures online that show a close up of the different types of pens inside and out!
