Got the bigger pool and roof up. They are outside full time now and loving it. Decided Jasper has to be a crested blue swedish. I went to our fair and saw one they were showing that looks just like mine.

Adorable! You're lucky Jasper likes the camera. Mine always hide!

Is the fenced area just for swimming or for all day? I was wondering what you did for around the perimeter (buried hardware cloth, etc.) and top. (I'm curious because I'm currently designing our run.)

The top I got at petsmart. I work there and got it pretty cheap. Its made for the dog runs which I also got at petsmart. I have chickens that run around all day in the yard but the ducks really dont want to leave their area. I leave it open when I am outside only and they really dont come out. I put small chicken wire around the bottom of the kennel so nothing can stick there heads in or out. My ducks dont dig so I didnt do anything under the kennel if they do happen to get out which there would be no way, my house is fenced off completely and they would just be with the chickens

nothing is going to dig in it around here thats why I dont worry. My dog is usually outside and protects the yard, the cats get along with my ducks and chickens. Theres no racoons here either. We have hawks and owls but never seen one around my area. The roof is made of really thick screen like stuff. Im sure you can google "dog run covers" and look it up. It got windy the other day and it didnt move at all. Its stays on really tight and I dont think any cat or small animal will get through it. But I have lived where there are racoons and possums. Those things can tear through anything. I wouldnt trust this for them.
