LOL @ Perfect...my DD would KILL me! Anyway, he's the cheapest animal we own feed-wise!

Poison - his name is Sam I Am, registered as Weez Sam I Am. I call him Sambo, DD calls him Sam.

I got a mini for Mother's Day this year. They are great. I sold my Haflinger once I got Joe. He's sooo cheap to feed. A bale for hay last about a Month and a bag of feed about 5 weeks. With the price of Hay this year I'm glad I only have my mini. He's so much fun. He went to the Blessing of the Animals at the Church last week and was better behaved than the dogs.

Yup - the feed bill is great with Sam. I'd say I'm about the same with you on his ration...maybe 4 weeks per bag. He does eat about one bale of hay a week...but it's hay we baled off our own land so it's virtually free (too bad we didn't cut enough for the big horses - I only have 7-8 weeks worth left in round bales). So now ya'll know why Sam's so fat LOL.
