Rose raised an eyebrow at the word manor. She thought she must have looked a bit silly in the green, but she couldn't help that her mother was rather unpractical in some ways. "I will be fine, thank you for your offer though. I've made my way back many times with no trouble" She smiled
Kaydar bowed his head, taking her hand and kissing the back of her palm. "I would insist, Lady Rosemary, but you seem to me to be one of strong will. I offer my aid, but it is truly your choice as to whether or not accept it." He liked this Lady of Court, she was far different from the noble women he had known in the past. She had spirit, much like his beloved Ellayn had possessed. He smiled slightly at the memory of how she had always denied his aid, assuring him that she could fend for herself. He frowned, in the end she had needed him. And he had not been by her side, she had assured him she could handle herself and he felt shame for not defying her wishes. If he had she would have still been at his side.

Tollia shrugged at Gar, humming an old nursery rhyme. She closed her eyes, her slender mare falling in line behind Florence's horse. She found herself singing softly, allowing herself to slip into her memories. Strong arms held her close, rocking her gently. "Hush little one, do not weep, safe in my arms you shall sleep. Hush little one, have no fear, by your side I shall always be near. Hush little one, still thy cry, down by your side I shall lie. Hush little one, sleep through the night, I shall conquer your fright. Hush little one, you have all my love, hush little one, hush my dove." She sighed and Gar road up beside her, reaching over to grip her hand and nearly falling from his saddle because of it. She smiled weakly at him, squeezing his hand tightly.

Sterling inhaled deeply taking in the scent of the other dragon. He followed the invisible path through the forest weaving around trees and stepping up and over logs. He could tell he was getting closer with every step. He looked around his eyes in slits his more animalistic side coming out with all the tracking and such. Florence nodged her horse making it puck up pace till it waljed beside Sterling. "About how much further?" She asked. "Not to far," Sterling answered simply.

The young brunette blushed slightly at his actions and words, but quickly recovered. "I appreciate your concern, but I'm sure I will be fine" She decided

Kaydar nodded, knowing from experience that there was no arguing with that tone. A strong will indeed. That was when he caught sight of a dagger on her person. A dagger that's very presence chilled him to the bone. "Milady, where by chance did you come upon that weapon?"

Gar watched as Sterling weaved through the forest, following a trail that he himself could not begin to detect. He overheard Florence speaking with him and Gar felt a chill along his spine. He looked up at Tollia, for once unable to see what emotions lay behind her piercing green eyes.

Rose almost dropped the thing in her surprise- she had forgotten about it again. "I was handed it by some other person on my way here, they also seemed to think I needed some sort of protection" She explained rashly, then added "But I assure you it's not mine"

Sterling spotted Kaydar and another woman in the distance. Before he pointed them out he turned to Gar and Tollia. "Why do you want to find this dragon?" He asked.

Kaydar blinked back at the green clad woman. "Surely you will wait for your retainers, Milday. As you just saw the forest is dangerous tonight. If you will not wait upon them perhaps we can escort you to your manor."

"Well I was going to the forest, but I think I may have to just head back now. Seeing those things enter it" Rose said in her definite way

Kaydar watched as the group of Elves turned towards the trees. He could smell that m from here, picked up the scent of the wealthy Elf. He snarled, wondering for a moment if he should go after them. He snorted, turning his attention back to the Lady Rosemary, Keeper, and Gardenia. He could handle the band if need be, of that he was sure. He had slain the group of Elvish knights, nomads would cause him no trouble. "Where did you say you were headed, Milady?" He caught sight of Keeper's face and concern filled his eyes. "Youngling, they cannot harm you now. You are safe."

Keeper's eyes were locked upon the forest, he could not pull his gaze away. Gardenia patted his shoulder, her eyes full of concern for her friend.
