T'lan turned around and looked at Lucas for a bit before finally speaking. "T'lan. My name is T'lan."

((No, you start to feel old when you've seen 3 Reyes children grow up. It makes you feel really old. At my age, that feeling is really disturbing.))

He blinked and lifted a brow, calling her by her true name just seemed.... wrong to him. Disrespectful. "Are....are you sure? Is there not something you would rather be called, some honorific of a lost age? You are deserving of it."

((Okay, now, what is a Reyes child? :hmm))

He lifted one brow, sweeping his hat off of his head and digging the toe of his boot into the dirt. "You are wise, your words ring true. T'lan alone I shall call you then."
T'lan turned around, in a bit of a better mood than usually, released from the title "m'lady". Maybe the man wouldn't be such a burden... She quickly pushed the thought out of her head. She wasn't going to get used to anything. His life span seemed only a second of a fraction in her lifespan. He would be gone soon enough.

Lucas smiled at her, bowing deeply and Snuggling his cap back on. He did truly believe that she was starting to warm up to him. All his life he had wanted power, had left home in the hopes of gaining a real title, land of his own. Perhaps even a manor. Then he had laid eyes upon the Jinn and everything had changed. Now all he crazed was her attention. He blinked, waking up from his thoughts. "Where do we go... T'lan."

"Oh, I don't know. Glassdon maybe? It's always appealed to me, quite ironic isn't it?"

T'lan shook her head. Lucas would never learn. She held up one finger. "Only one, for yourself if you get any. Or two, if you want to have horse roast on the trip."

Lucas' eyes shot open wide at his own stupidity. "Of course, of course. We shall go as we are then, Glassdon does loop very near the city to the west. There is a nice little pool that it leads into. There are strange little fish there, all colors. They glow like jewels beneath the surface."

"Really?" T'lan's eyes showed a spark of curiosity. She was a master at masking her emotions, but the the little spark got through somehow.
