I am new to posting here, have really only been getting advice from all the informative chicken lovers. I have a problem with my HenRoo (we dont know what it is yet) and I have followed what I think is a resolution. She has an impacted craw. Listless, sleepy and not pooping. I gave her some red wine .3cc and we aqre hoping for the best. I want to thank all of you for all the good information I have found on here. Cheers!

Sadly she/he passed this morning. I appreciate all the "welcomes". I am new to the chicken world and now have a trio of Black Copper Marans and an incubater full of Blue Copper Marans. I am not getting my hopes up with the Blues cause its my first try at incubating. My best friend has been doing this for a while and she got me started so maybe with her help I can have some success. It seems the more I read the worse off I think I am. I am getting eggs from my black copper, she laid 2 and hasent laid any more in 3 days. I am leaving them in the nest box so she can sit. Mother Nature has got this incubating thing down pat and Im gonna let her do her stuff!
