Well after my divorce I was still chicken assisting at my old house ( ex and always remain friends) so when spring came and I can build the new coop and split the chickens. Well spring came and so did coronavirus and a coop breakin.. not good. I didn't want to split the flock after all that.. almost didn't seem right to them.
Anyway got 6 new chicks a few weeks ago ( weird going from 22 to 6 ). And in process of building new 6x6 coop ( will slowly expand). Not sure of perfect location yet. It's gonna be tough. I've created 2 8x8 goat shelters and awesome 8x12 coop in the past with my ex but I'm on my own this time. Almost 5 ft tall and under 100 lbs gonna be tough but determination always wins even when it comes close to breaking me
