New pullet lays eggs, but no egg song?

I have a new RSL pullet that has been laying eggs now for two weeks, but she doesn't sing the "egg song." I don't understand why she doesn't sing...

All of the chickens I've ever had have always sang after they've done their job! The only other chicken I have is another RSL who is 10 years old and no longer lays.

Every chicken is individual. I have some that announce loudly when they have layed, and some that do not make a sound, and everything in between.

I have a hens that don’t at all and one that sings for all the others!

I’ve noticed that mine don’t when I’m out there with them. Maybe they think I already know about the egg so why bother announcing it?

I have some that don’t sing the egg song and some that do. And then I have others that will holler to the whole neighborhood after laying an egg as if to say “I have just done the impossible and lain an egg!” She will stop when I state her name and congratulate her.

I have some chickens that don’t sing the egg song, they are just super quiet about it. I happen to prefer that and wish that all my chickens were quiet about it.
