Hi there and thanks for reading this!

I had an established flock of 8, two of them being Roos. Over a period of about a month my flock was attacked by an unknown predator, probably dog and/or raccoon, and whittled down my flock to 3; 1 roo and 2 hens. About four months ago, I purchased 10 pullets, after I fixed the predator problem and that is now solved, and put them inside a cage, inside my coop. The pullets, which are actaully 9 and one banny roo, are now out of the cage and have access to the coop, one of my hens is fine with it but the other isn't, but no major problems have occurred.

My question is, will my established Roo accept the new pullets or will he leave them to the other roo? My banny roo is really tiny, I don't think I"ve seen one so small, and my new pullets are big: dark cornishes, RIRs, a Bramah and a few others that I can't tell what they are yet. I will eventually buy somemore bannies and put him with them when I get my other coop securred but for now, I have to keep them all together for safety.

What do you think? Any suggestion?

Thanks again!

What would most likely happen is the established roo will take over the whole flock. The banny roo will fall in line under the big one and given his age he won't put up much of a fight. Your unhappy hen will begrudgingly accept it as long as she accepts the big roo as dominant. It shouldn't take too long for them to work it out among themselves. I'd just sit, watch and do nothing unless it looks like it could get bloody.
