new pup

we are getting a pound pup! well he is really 2 1/2 but still a cutie! he has arthritis on his front paws but he is still nice! he is a pure breed lab

Aww. I love new family members. Post pics soon please. I think it's great that you are adopting. One of my favorite quotes is "Choose from a shelter. Until there are none, adopt one!" Not sure where this came from, I just remember seeing it somewhere.

How wonderful for you & the dog. I hope it's a black lab. Black dogs all across the U.S. are the last to get adopted from shelters. I have adopted 5 black dogs from our local shelter, & have taken in 3 more unwanted dogs, 8 total.......all black.
