New Puppy -- Do you know what he is?

pit and American bulldog.
Not an uncommon mix as they want those big huge muscled dogs for fighting.
He is certainly adorable and I expect those spots to become a little more noticeable as he gets older.

Looks like your typical southern bulldog aka old southern white ... used to hog hunt in the south and most everyone with a patch of dirt & some livestock kept these guys around and many still have their own lines they use for catch dogs & genral purpose farm dogs. Most were American Bulldog x Pit Bull crosses. Gotta sweet expression... good luck with him!

He looks a lot like a friend's shar-pei. She used to get that same look on her face when she was very happy.

"Old Southern White" and "Bulldog" in the same sentence means a Dogo Argentino.

Just because a dog looks bully-ish doesn't make it a pit bull or pit bull mix. Honestly that puppy does look part Dogo. They're on the leggier, leaner side, but still have some good cheek. Am-Staffs are broader, shorter in leg, and have more "face" than muzzle. Leaner Pit bulls don't have as much cheek.

looks too compact for a dogo...although he could be mixed with one.

ab or pit/pit mix is my guess packed with a whole lot of cuteness!

I used to know a white pit used for hog hunting as a catch dog. She was named Concord for the way she flew in to grad an ear.
