Yesterday We got a female Great Pyrenees/Anatolian shepherd mix, named Friday. She is being temporarily housed next to the chickens, but we will be building a fence around the farm for her to patrol as she gets older, thankfully she was raised around lots of farm animals including chickens.
She’s been the most well behaved puppy (so far) I’ve ever had, we had to drive 4 hours away to get her, but she is so worth it. We are having issues with foxes getting chickens, so she was much needed to protect the flock.
Doing lots of research and have a lot of dog training knowledge myself, but LGD are new for me.
Any tips are welcome.

Adorable! Feel free to drop by at Chickentrain's QA(https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/chickentrains-dog-q-a.1448168/#post-24086464) if you happen to have any training questions! Good luck with your new puppy.
