New quail owner.. help with hens!

Stop moving them.
Can you post pictures if the current cage, each bird and the feed tag from the bag of feed?

I moved them only once. After I bought them they were in a temp space. Now they are in a 30×36 18" high. It is all wire. But I have half hay, and a large tray with pine shavings. Getting dust bath materials Tom. They are on a 22% protein feed, and love it. Dont really touch greens or veggies. But like multi grain bread covered in seeds. Lol. Yes it is organic from the farmers market.
I've only had them for a week. I moved the Male out a couple days ago so they could settle in better. Hope it works. It is winter. But I have a light on them before and after sunlight. Also its Florida so the temps never get too low. They are very docile whenever I feed them or change water. Hoping it's just the move from a big farm. 🤔

Ok. Good luck.
I'm just saying that's what I have been told. They pick the seeds off the bread. And then I take it out. If you have aversions to these things that would be helpful it would be great. U can view videos all over the internet with people with 100 quail telling you different things. All views are helpful. I just want my hens happy and laying.

The best thing for them is a complete balanced diet.
Feeding bread takes away from a balanced diet which will cause problems.

They would be happier not suffering from problems that will arise from not getting a balanced diet.

No offense, but that is like saying my dog should not have a treat. Or my Guinea pigs should not have a strawberry. Etc. I have 22 animals. They are all doing fine with a treat or two once or twice a week.
