New quail owner here!

I had a brand new incubator just sitting in a corner in my room that I had for my gecko eggs,then as to be used for chickens,but life happens! So, due to some setbacks with our yard still under construction, I ended up with quail hatching eggs way sooner than i felt ready for. I believe im on day 8 now of them baking in the incubator. I have yet to buy a candler since I've been pretty busy(I may run up to TSC soon for one). That's just about it for a look into my crazy life right now and thanks for having me!

To Backyard Chickens!

Try using the flashlight app on your phone for candling. A good bright led flashlight for Walmart works too. There are a some of their ozark brand that work well
