Thought I'd share my progress pictures from the last few days since what success I had I attribute to things learned here.

Just popped out. I had to intervene with the one in front there. not only did it get its beak stuck it also got its leg stuck. This is a point where I may have failed some of the other eggs that did not hatch but the humidity in my garage was an ambient 50% and the machine was 70% so who knows. Ill be cracking them to check later today.

Starting to fluff and was not long until they were in their brooder. The paper towels were inserted when I helped the chick previously. that chick is currently at 8.8g (about 2.5-3g under avg for the rest) so it was just too small for that mesh. I have purchased gravel paper for my next hatch.

Last but not least a round of cute brooder pics.

from last night before they had their second night in the brooder. I have introduced a bit of bedding under the light to help capture warmth and took this because their reactions were so darn cute.

-From this morning. Super exciting to see them relaxing more in the middle already. I was worried about 1 of them because it was just so much more lethargic than the others but its put that way behind it now. I know the pictures arent great but I actually dont know what these guys color patterns are. I think two are wild, one is reaally brown, and one has basically no speckles or spots and its wing tips are white. any guesses? They were purchased as celadons so i assumed they would just come in wild phase
