Hi everyone, I am happy to have found this forum. I have raised my first bay chicks and am now awaiting the eggs to start flowing in. We got thee first round of hens at our local feed store last May of 2017 and I am very excited to start getting eggs from them. I am only hoping they are all hens, lol. So with not being sure, we went to a local farm and bought 5 more to add to our flock of 5 and they were supposed to be all hens and currently laying. But... one of those "hens" has proven to be a rooster. This started right after we went and bought a nice large rooster to protect our hens and we also wanted some more baby chicks. So, yeah, still a bit confused and unsure of what we have, but I will share some pics once I figure out how to maneuver this forum, and maybe you can give me some hints to help me along in my journey.
