New rescues

I'm in Florida about 45 minutes north of West Palm Beach.

By the time I pick them up today they will have been quarantined for a week. They looked healthy with clear eyes and nostrils and I'll keep them in the separate barn for at least 2 additional weeks. You don't know the history on abandoned birds so I err on the side of caution. I have heard some people quarantine 30 days to 6 weeks.

I have an Aunt in Florida, but I am on the west coast. They charge for everything out here!

When we were doing our research on quarantine times, we read 21-30 days at a minimum but more if possible. I'm ultra paranoid, but also want to be reasonable... So I am thinking we'll try to make it to 30 days.
