Please Read First
A) By participating in this game, I promise that all BYC Rules will be followed and that I have read and understood the Role Play Rules that are in a sticky at the top of the Games forum.
B) I promise that all content is to be rated G and suitable for all ages.
C) I promise that there will be no swearing, cursing (including censoring by using symbols) or inappropriate adult sexual activity or innuendo. This extends to mating, breeding or innuendo in non-human characters as well.
D) I promise to treat others with respect and kindness as is the BYC way.
E) I promise not to post any material that is a violation of copyright. Basically this means: if you didn't create the content (like an image / picture) and don't have direct permission from the content creator to post it, then don't.

----------NEED TO KNOW----------
Basically, your primary objective is anything. You may do anything you like, as long as it complies with BYC rules and rules of the game (see below). Its open world, and there will be 3 different areas (maps posted soon): Raqa, Anarias, and Sartin. There are ANY # of occupations (see "occupation ideas") and 4 races (see "races"). There is an unlimited number of players. PKing is allowed, however, once a player starts a new character, don't continually grief them by repetitively killing the players' new characters. However, players may fight back when you attempt to kill them (see "combat").



------RACES------
Elf- has high magic, but low raw defense
Man- average all around stats
Orc- Lacking mag, but have high defense.
Virus Eater- A race of organisms that have passed on a particular mysterious virus so long, its production has become completely embedded in their genes. It makes them stronger, yet magic is lower than most races.




------COMBAT------
Basically, the combat rules are as follows. Each weapon has a set amount of attack, and each race has a set defense and mag. Orcs-25 def, 5 mag, elves-10 def, 20 mag, men 15 def, 15 mag, virus eaters- 20 def, 10 mag
WEAPONS REQUIRE MAG STAT EQUIVALENT TO THAT STATED IN WEAPON DESCRIPTION
damage dealt =weapon damage-opponent defense
if you defeat an opponent, they die PERMANENTLY and give up weapon equipped. if they surrender, they give up gold = to value of weapon or if they can't they give up the weapon itself.
Combatants take turns attacking one another. If in a party, everyone in party attacks before opponents counter.

if YOU DIE IN BATTLE, YOU ARE GONE PERMANENTLY AND WILL HAVE TO START WITH NEW CHARACTER TO CONTINUE PLAYING
WEAPONS ARE OBTAINED BY DEFEATING FOES OR BY HAVING THEM FORGED
YOU MAY JOIN WITH UP TO 5 OTHER PLAYERS ON A BOSS
NO GRIEFING
ANY ACTIONS MUST COMPLY WITH GAME RULES AND BYC RULES OR MODERATOR WILL BE NOTIFIED
GUILDS AND NON BOSS PARTIES CAN HAVE ANY NUMBER OF PEOPLE
