New Roo sounds like a crow??

I recently got a Bahama Bantam hen and Roo, they are around 15 weeks old or so. Last week the little roo started making crow sounding noises, is he trying to crow?? He was unnamed until Horace just seemed to fit! Horace Caa CAWS all day long. do they have gravely voices my other roo is a bantam also but he crows normal. I laugh so hard each time Horace makes this noise I am afraid I will give him a complex.

Your little Horace will probably work on his crow for a month or so, until it resembles any other roo's crow very closely.
He's just starting out, now. In a week, I bet he gets another note. in another week, another note , until he's got all 5, or more, of "Rr-rr-Rr-rr--RRRRR!"

If he doesn't ever perfect it & still sounds like a crow at a year, I'd offer to buy him as the one rooster the neighbors won't detect, lol!

One of my big Brahmas started out sounding like a car engine turning and now, fully grown ,he still sounds like he is being strangled. This does not prevent him from continually 'crowing' to assert his manhood.
