New roos

So I lost a roo and saw these 6 barnyard mixes. One is going to replace mine. They said speckled Sussex mixes. Will take better pics. What you think?

Do you have room for a new rooster, plus the cockerels and silkies that you already have?
I thought on another thread of yours you were going to grow out of one your cockerels to be with your flock.
Do you have space or a plan for more than one rooster?

From what I can see in the photo, they look to be in decent shape. Of course, if at all possible, quarantine any new adult birds for at least 30 days to monitor them for illness and parasites.

Most of the cockerels and roosters I will have will not be kept for very long once they reach a certain again. The one for that I'm keeping from my group of young ones will take a bit to reach adult so would like an older roo to fertilize eggs. I have a space for the extra roos while I have the during quarintien and away from the flock when I choose which one I will keep.

Thank you though for trying to make sure I was prepared for all of them I wouldnt want fights happening for hens at all

It sounds like you have everything pretty much figured out!
Those roosters do look good.
If you do go to pick one out, spend some time there - look at the housing conditions, listen for any sneezing/wheezing or coughing, look for any signs of watery eyes or mucous on the nostrils. Some have feathered legs, take a good look at those for signs of scaly leg mites. Talk to the seller and ask questions, but listen to what they have to say and how they say it.

I know it's exciting to think about getting a new fella for your girls, but if anything is questionable, it really is o.k. to walk away. There is always another option.

I do want you to have a good rooster, but I also don't want you to come home with a bird that might be sick.

Thank you. Yea not the usual person I go to so more unsure about how they are. The pics they showed me look great, but i know i try to crop out some stuff like If I hadnt cleaned yet lol

Also watch the birds as you approach, a good rooster will be the first one to see you.

Mixes are OK with you and you've got the hatching bug bad??

I love mixes. So far all but 6 of my chicks I'm raising are mixes. I love the patterns and the personalities.
