Ok so we recieved 2 new roos. I see it as more of a resuce mission. Where they were was animals all over the place, poop every where, dead animals, no food or water that i saw. My dh called and said the roos were not letting the girls eat or get on the roost. He said the roos were pecking the girls when they went to eat or get up on the roost with them. I'm wondering if maybe it will take some time or if I should take them back.

Did you quarantine them? They should be kept completely separate from your flock for 30 days so youcan see if they have any illnesses.
If they were raised in such bad conditions, they may very well have something nasty. Or be nasty themselves until they learn there is enough for everyone.

oh my gosh, that is terrbile. Poor roos (and other animals).

You definetly need to quarentine them though!
