I's move them down to the tops of the nest dividers.

I would lower at least one so they can use it as a ladder if you still have enough room on the highest one for all your birds. All my birds except one use the highest rung, but it may be just because they can. On my old coop, they used two levels. I'm about to add 12 more birds so we will see how they work that out.

I also put a tree stump in my coop that they can hop onto to make it easier to jump on and off the bottom roost, even though it isn't high. They must like it because they all use it.

@DobieLover @aart i brought the roosts down about 8”. they’re sitting just an inch or two above the top of the nest box dividers now.

it does not. i’m currently at 16sqft of permanent ventilation for 12 birds. we’re planning to add birds this spring, and then i’ll likely open the door side ventilation up.

That's theoretically enough room for 8 birds -- unless your run is covered, at least partially walled, and accessible from the first light of dawn until dark, in which case it functions as an extension of the coop.
