New rooster

Young roosters are very hormonal. How long have you had the new rooster? Sometimes it takes the flock some time to get use to the change in their flock. Once they start squatting, they won't be as quick to avoid him.
About three days now so not long at all that’s why I’m hoping it will get a bit better. The layers are already squatting

They will adapt, introducing roosters vs hens goes so differently.I recently introduced a new rooster to my flock(got rid of old rooster)and I had one fight the entire time, vs if I introduced a hen, there woulda been multiple fights. They will get use to him, alotta hens fear males, it’s just pretty natural, escpecially if the birds are older as well as the male.My grown hens avoid the male while the younger birds chill out with him and even let him breed.

Thank you! Will give him a chance
