My husband and I bought a coop with attached run from tractor supply for our chickens. Our plan is to build out a larger run and custom coop in the next few months and use the store bought as a temporary solution. I’m a little lost in the best way to secure the coop. My plan was to do something similar to the image here. My thought is to do a predator apron with cinderblocks on top and all around as shown. I’m then planning on double securing the wiring with more wiring to predator proof. Does this seem sufficient or any other ideas appreciated the coop pictures is not our coop but is the exact coop we have.

The most effective apron is 1/2" hardware cloth. The blocks shown just tell the predator to 'start digging here.' Of course, if you like blocks and have them on hand, you can use them, but then you should have the 1/2" hardware cloth apron starting there and extending another apx 2'.
