New Setting

Hi All,

I have a new setting, first one since I was a kid, 44 yrs. young now. The incubator is a Hova-Bator 1588 with the egg turner. The hatch is due to start on Sept 11th, sharp

So far so good. The 1588 is maintaining 100 degrees and humidity is constant at 55% for the past 24 hours.

I have 24 Golden Buff Orpington, 6 Ameraucana, & 6 RIR eggs in the bator. I'll candle them in a few days and see what's cookin & what's not. All of these eggs came from eBay, I let them sit pointy end down for 24 hours before going in the bator.

Matt, I don't incubate. I haven't had chickens too long. (Had them years ago). but I wish you the best of luck with your hatch. Many happy chirps to you.
