Hi I'm a new chicken owner and have 3 silkie bantam hens 1 white 6 month old who is laying every other day and a black one and a splash one who are both 5 months old and when I first got them they laid every other day too but have all of a sudden stop laying I had only had a week when they suddenly stop laying . I've check for mites and all the other thing I've seen on here but can't see anything. I'm also incubating silkie egg I put my first ever 6 in 12 days ago and I've had 2 develop and the rest where yolkers. I've enclosed photos
and Welcome To BYC! Good luck with your hatch! You've gotten some good suggestions above as to why your hens aren't laying, also being silkies they may already be going broody.
