New Silkie chicks - are they Buffs or Partridge?

I just got these three Silkies. I am thinking they are Buffs, but they do have a lot of darker feathers... could they be Partridge?

Here is the same chick a month later (on july 12th) with the penciling still on her head

and here is a pic from today (july 24th) with the penciling just now starting to go away
