New silkie mama

Thank you so much for all your suggestions..! I think these chickens were free range and had hardly any interaction with people. My younger one is almost taking trays from my hand, and let's me kinda pet her, lol. The older one tried biting me last night after she went into the coop on her own, I told her no and helped get my other one in the coop. This morning she actually walked out of coop on her own, all while cussing me out I'm sure, lol! I've been giving them a strawberry or two a day, a little bit of cheese, and dried agh shells... They even had a little spaghetti last night, lol. I go outside and sit by them for about 10 min or so a couple times a day. I guess they're getting there, just gotta be patient..!

Welcome to BYC! I would advise to sit with her a few minutes each day in the coop and talk softly to her. That is what I did when I had an un-tamed Dark Cornish hen.
I agree with this. People will think your crazy talking to a chicken but that's another good thing to do
