Hello! I am so excited to finally have silkies. I have been involved with show poodles for a few years and I have always thought that silkies are the poodliest looking chickens! With the pandemic going on and dog shows on hiatus I figured it is a great time to get started! I have 2 chicks and around 20 eggs incubating. My favorite colors are paint and self blue. I would love to end up with one that I can show! I love the show Chicken People - the chicken show world seems very similar to the dog show world. I am currently building a large coop and run for my new babies. Happy to be a member of BYC!
