New Silkie Project - Looking for Breeders to Help

I did hatch an abundance of roos last year, so I had an opportunity to try them as I culled hard and only kept the best for breeding. They taste like chicken.

Bob (ultra1classic) does that for me.

Another way to sex them is to wait for the rooster to purr. A lot of times you have to just about wait for an old style or plain silkie to crow before you know what sex they are - you can wait for them to purr if you don't want to learn to vent sex.
