new silkies owner

I'm new to this so I'm a new owner to six silkies one week old so any help on raising healthy birds and sexing them when there old enough to tell

Any pictures, what colors did you get ? There are several dedicated silkie threads on BYC, mainly by color. The biggest thread is simply called 'SILKIE THREAD," if you put that in the search box, it should pop up. Silkies are extremely hard to sex before 4-5 mos. of age or when they crow or lay an egg - whichever comes first.
