Hello! I've been raising chickens with my dad for years, but this is the first time I'm actually a homeowner and have land to do this myself... all on my own... excitement!
I have my chickens set up in my old rabbit run and will be tying it in to their current cage area; two animals, one paddock. We - my city boy husband and I - only have two at the moment. A client of his got too many this year and donated a Rhode Island Red and what might be a Buff Orpington. Its an exciting new start, but without my dad on hand I decided it would be best to join a community to get some help in the hard times, and hopefully be able to give some advice to others.
