Hiya, and welcome to BYC!! I love SS and had 3 at one point I raised for couple of months. They were so sweet but my heart was telling me to stay with just silkies so I sold them. It's weird how I miss them though!

Welcome. In my almost 2-year old flock of 11, I was supposed to have 3-SS hens. I ended up with 1 SS hen and 2 SS roosters. They are one of my favorite breeds. When I look back, before they had comb changes and started to crow, the males were appreciably bigger than the female. I hope that helps
